Objectives:The student acquires basic knowledge about characteristics and structur of polymers, viscoelasticity and nonlinear theories for calculation of plastic parts, plastic parts design, basics of production, design and calculation of fiber-reinforced plastics.
Contents:The module deal with structure and characteristics of polymers, Technical Mechanics of polymers (stress strain behaviour, introduction in viscoelasticity, second order theory), plastic part design, production, design and calculation of fiber-reinforced plastics.
Applicability:Compulsory module for this course of studies and an elective module for other study paths.
