- Recognizes motivation as an important leadership task and shows it in his leadership behavior
- can explain the relationship between motivation and leadership behavior using simple examples
- knows the prerequisites and conditions for cooperative leadership behavior and can evaluate these in a specific management situation
- understands the cooperative leadership style as a logical expression of a leadership style based on the principles of leadership of the engineer
- Explains the influence of groups on the behavior of individuals with the help of role theory
- knows the influence of group dynamic processes on the performance of groups
- Can analyze group dynamic processes, identify occurring disturbances and develop appropriate management measures to eliminate them
- is aware of the importance of adequate information dissemination,
- can explain the process of human communication and illustrate communication disorders using self-selected examples,
- knows techniques for improving communication skills such as controlled dialogue and active and passive listening,
- applies these techniques in conducting conversations, knows the rules for successful interviewing and applies them.
Course contents:Communication (Communication - Specification of the term, the four pages of a message, the fact page, the self-revelation page, the relational side, the appeal page, possible reasons for communication disruptions, how to improve communication, listen correctly, feedback, metacommunication)

Interviewing (basics of interviewing, employee-oriented interviewing, the employees expectations, taking time for your employee, feelings are part of every employee appraisal, employees share of the conversation, pygmalion effect, structure of an appraisal interview, techniques for conducting the interview)

Dealing with conflicts (general, areas of conflict, causes of conflict, recognition of conflicts, handling of conflicts, setting up a conflict resolution discussion)

Authority (Basic terms, forms of authority, authority, personal authority, technical authority, leadership)

Motivation (basic concepts, motivation theories, needs of A. MASLOW, motivation to work according to F. HERZBERG, motivation according to OETTINGER, motivation of employees)

Group processes (basic concepts, group dynamics, norm, role, status, the sociogram, reduction of confounding factors)
