Requirements:Successful completion of the modules Basics of Electrical Engineering 1 and Mathematics 1 and parallel participation in Mathematics 2 are recommended.
Objectives:After successful participation in the module course, students acquire basic knowledge of electrical engineering and are able to understand, calculate and analyse single-phase and three-phase alternating current circuits. They learn the behaviour of these alternating-current circuits and networks as well as their frequency-dependency and can calculate this with complex calculations. Students can recognise and solve application problems caused by electrical flow fields and electrostatic fields. Furthermore, they can calculate magnetic fields as well as linear and non-linear magnetic circuits.
Contents:Complex analysis of linear single-phase and three-phase alternating current networks and the relevant calculation methods. Energy, power and frequency behaviour of networks. Electrostatic fields, electric flow fields, magnetic fields, linear and non-linear magnetic circuits
Applicability:Mandatory module for the Electrical Engineering course and elective mandatory module for other courses
