ECTS credits:5
Expenditure of time:54h contact time + 96h self study
Modul type:compulsory module
Duration:1 semester
Supervisor:Prof. Dr. H. Lenz-Strauch
Requirements:none
Objectives:The students are able to interpret measuring data and to analyze errors. They are able to develop own measurements.
Contents:In this module the basic concepts of measurement techniques are discussed. Furthermore data reduction and error analysis including the statistical basics of these methods as well as hypothesis testing (exemplary) are covered. Introduction in the methods of preparing, performing and analyzing measurements including the reporting of the results is subject of this module. The subjects of the lessons are practically trained in exemplary tasks from dimension measurement and production measurement technology.
Applicability:Compulsory module in this course of studies and elective module in other courses of studies.
Teaching methods:Lecture, exercise, self organized studies, laboratory training, colloquium
Individual courses:measuring data handling and statistics in semester 2
measuring data handling and statistics lab in semester 2
