programming, high level language and operating systems 1 is advisable.
Objectives:The students have a knowledge in the field of operating systems especially considering embedded systems and developing software for embedded systems.
Contents:Basic properties of operating systems
Properties of embedded systems using the example of Linux
Hardware/Software-Co-Design
Developing software for embedded systems (Native In-board-Compiler, Crosscompiling, (Remote-)Debugging)
event transfer and timing in embedded syytems
case studies
Applicability:Compulsory module for this course of studies and an elective module for other study paths.
Teaching methods:lecture, exercise and laboratory training.
