Objectives:The students are able to work with a CAD 3D system
Contents:This module includes the transfer of knowledge in computational graphics, wireframe, surface, solid modeling, parametrics and associativity, Bézier-, B-spline, NURBS technology, CSG and B-Rep modeling, smoothing of curves and surfaces.
Moreover the use of features, Knowledge Based Engineering, Design in Context, and data exchange is taught. The learned knowledge is deepened with practical exercises using a current CAD 3D system.
Applicability:Compulsory module for this course of studies and an elective module for other study paths.
