Objectives:The courses give an introduction into basics and methods of kinetics (dynamic systems). Students get qualified with skills and methods they need to solve mechanic problems concerning kinetics (analysis of motion due to external forces) autonomously as well as to transfer their knowledge into practical application.
Participation on this course requires “Mechanik 1”.

Contents:The course contents are adjusted to the needs and demands students of this subject have in their future work life. That is:
Basics and methods to solve problems concerning kinetic; description of rectilinear, plane and space motions; definition and calculation of the principle of linear and angular momentum; translational, rotatory and general movement of rigid bodies due to forces; mass moment of inertia; classification of the terms work, energy, power; principle of d'Alembert; causes and properties of vibrations (free vibrations, damped vibrations, forced vibrations)
