Objectives:The student acquires knowledge and abilities in calculation and valuation of state of stress and state of deformation regarding to simple parts and machine elements.
Contents:The module deal with internal forces and moments for bars, fundamentals, tension of bars, pure bending, torsion of prismatical bars, shearing of prismatical bars, strength hypothesis, differential equation of bars displacement and stability of prismatical bars.
Applicability:Compulsory module for this course of studies and an elective module for other study paths.
Teaching methods:lectures with attendant exercises
