Requirements:A successful completion of the modules natural scientific basics and mathematics 1 - 2 is advisable.
Objectives:The students know the basics of Technical Thermodynamics. The students have learned about calculation of thermodynamic systems systematically and they know examples of use.
The module is the base for the subsequent lectures:
- Engineering Thermodynamics
- Energy Technology
Students have developed an understanding for thermodynamic systems and processes and the quantitative
description of them.
Contents:Contents of this module are the basic concepts and there connections, changes of state of ideal gases, first and second main laws of thermodynamics, thermodynamics systems, selected reversible and irreversible processes and introduction in the thermodynamic cycles.
Applicability:Compulsory module for this course of studies and an elective module for other study paths.
