Requirements:Successful completion of the modules Basics of Electrical Engineering 1 and 2 is recommended.
Objectives:After successfully completing the module, students will be able to describe the use and performance as well as the electrical and thermal behavior of modern electronic components. They are able to apply methods of circuit analysis and sizing of electronic circuits.
Contents:Basics of individual components and integrated circuits; Description of components, parameters, temperature dependency, quality and reliability; Basics of circuit analysis, calculation of simple electric circuits, power loss calculation, cooling of components
Applicability:Mandatory module for this course and elective mandatory module for other courses
