Objectives: | The courses in Mathematics I – III shall provide the students with basic mathematical knowledge as well as with the way of mathematical thinking and the application of mathematical procedures, which are the basis of the following engineering courses. The students shall be acquainted with the techniques for solving mathematical problems and shall learn how to apply mathematical procedures to engineering tasks. or the final exam in Mathematics I is admitted, who has passed the test in elementary mathematics (part of Mathematics I). |

Contents: | This module includes linear algebra, linear equations, and vector algebra, further algebraic and transcendental equations, real functions, and complex arithmetic. Differential calculus for functions with one variable is also included in this course. |

Applicability: | Compulsory module for this course of studies and an elective module for other study paths. |
