Exam requirements:Knowledge in fundamentals of communications engineering, which are necessary for processing of sensor signals, system properties in the time domain and in the frequency domain. Knowledge of signal processing and to filtering of signals with digital systems.
Objectives:The students have knowledge in fundamentals of communications engineering, which are necessary for processing of sensor signals and are familiar with system properties in the time domain and in the frequency domain. Further on, they have knowledge to process and to filter signals with digital systems.
Course contents:Impulse response and transfer function of sensor systems. Fourier transform. Sampling, quantization and filtering of signals. Introduction in algorithms for image processing.
