Exam requirements:Basic knowledge of design, function, behaviour and control of representative electromagnetic and electrostatic drives.
Objectives:The course gives an introduction to students of Mechatronic and Medical Engineering into basics of design, function, behaviour, and control of representative electromagnetic and electrostatic drives.
Course contents:The basic principle of induction-motor, solenoid.
DC-motors, speed/torque characteristics, speed regulator.
Special purpose of DC-motors.
Stepper motor, basic control circuit for stepper motor
(unidirectional/bidirectional,...)
Piezoelectric motor, system application.
