Exam requirements:Basic knowledge of queueing theory, information theory and their applications. Profound knowledge of the lower layer functions of reference models.
Objectives:After successful participation in the module, students can use theoretical models on practical problems in communication networks. They know the main functions of technical layers and understand the order of events in processes of communication.
Course contents:Network structures and network architectures, queueing theory, source coding, channel coding, technical layers of reference models.
