After successfully attending the module, students have knowledge and understanding of the main issues related to the application of artificial intelligence to real-world problems. They have an overview of the main challenges in the field of artificial intelligence and are able to evaluate intelligent computer solutions.
Course contents:History and taxonomy of artificial intelligence; deduction, reasoning, problem solving;
machine learning; search and optimization.
