Exam requirements:The course is carried out in the sense of the practical handling of complex design and simulation tasks.
Constructive designs are assigned as a homework assignment and discussed and tested in regular presentation dates. The submission to the certificate is obligatory and part of the certificate of performance.
Objectives:Knowledge out of the courses „Mechanical Design“, „Technology of Biomedical Devices“ and „Applied Informatics for Biomedical Technology“ is used in practical exercises to solve complex tasks.

Course contents:Basics of systematic design for biomedical devices, design and simulation of mechatronical functional assemblies and devices for biomedical applications using 3D-CAD-Systems and related software tools.
