Exam requirements:Deepened knowledge of bases of hydraulic and pneumatic systems in vehicles. Deepened knowledge of hydrostatic driving drives, hydraulic auxiliary worker steering elements, hydraulic and pneumatic brake assemblies as well as of project engineering of hydrostatic systems. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic dynamic systems.
Objectives:Knowledge of function, structure and cooperating of hydraulic and pneumatic systems in vehicles. Deepened knowledge of hydrostatic drives, hydraulic auxiliary steering elements, hydraulic and pneumatic brake assemblies and project engineering of hydrostatic systems. Special method knowledge of project engineering, dimensioning and calculating of individual components
Course contents:Introduction: Introduction to hydraulics and pneumatics, requirements of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conflicting aims, environmental aspects, legal requirements, new technologies.
Hydraulic components: Components of a hydraulic drive, hydraulic tank, hydraulic fluids, pumps, engines, valves, cylinders.
hydraulic drives: Structure, function and impact of a hydraulic drive, closed circle, open circle.
Hydraulic controls: Throttle control, load-sensing control, efficiency computations.
Pneumatic systems: Function, structure and impact of truck compressed air brakes
