Exam requirements:Knowledge of the special features of digital signal processing. Extensive knowledge of the description and features of discrete-time signals and LTI-systems as well as their transforms. Knowledge of digital filters and their design.
Objectives:Understanding of the special features of digital signal processing. Ability to analyse and design nonrecursive and recursive discrete-time LTI-systems. Ability to carry out the most important transforms and to calculate their parameters.
Course contents:Special features of the digital signal processing (sampling, converting, smoothing, oversampling). Description and characteristics of discrete-time signals and LTI-systems. Characteristics and design of digital filters. Discrete Fourier- and z-transform, FFT.
