Exam requirements:Knowledge of how to use stiffness matrices to set up the fem system of equations
Knowledge of how to solve the system and calculate displacements and reaction forces.
Understanding of stresses and main stresses.
Objectives:Using an FEM program, modelling and interpretation of results.
Course contents:Basics of FEM modelling and theory.
Learning how to use a FEM program: geometry input, boundary conditions, loads.
Generation and interpretation of results.

Adequate models for the problem.
