Exam requirements:Detailed knowledge about functions and programming languages of PLCs (norms IEC 1131) and about industrial development and design tools. In-depth knowledge of design, appropriation and realisation of controls. Knowledge of applying bussystems and HMI-Systems.
Objectives:Learning basics for development of process control systems by realization of control functions by standard elements like programmable logic controller with the corresponding programming languages, bussystems and human machine interfaces.
Course contents:Implementation and appropriation of control programs on industrial standards; development of a sequential control system for model of an elevator; development and appropriation of a temperature control for a real system with a programmable logic controller; connection of logic controller with bus systems; development of a user surface using a human machine interface system.
