Objectives:Students understand basic principles of asymmetrical steady state behavior in components electrical energy systems. Furthermore they understand basic principles of asymmetrical supply of symmetrical energy systems as well as punctual asymmetrical systems fed symmetrical.
Students understand the difference between experimental findings and theoretical ideal behavior of physical quantities in electrical energy systems.
Course contents:In the laboratory the basic principles of asymmetrical steady state behavior of components in electrical energy systems is demonstrated by the use of experiments.
In addition basic principles of asymmetrical supply of symmetrical energy systems as well as punctual asymmetrical systems fed symmetrical are shown by the use of experiments.
The focus in punctual asymmetrical systems is on single phase to earth faults and consequential on neutral point treatment.
