Exam requirements:Knowledge of optoelectronic devices (LED, LD) and semiconductors; Laser-
Diodes and Gaussian beam: applications in optoelectronic instrumentations. Optomechanical scanners, interferometric sensors and 3D-sensor systems;
optical fibers, fiber sensors and interferometers.

The students gain practical experience by doing some experimental work and measurements in the laboratory. The measurements concern optoelectronic devices
(LED, LD), scanner systems and fiber optical instrumentation.

- scanner systems, Nyquist-Theorem and optical resolution by dedicated systems
- optical fibers, telecommunication and systems application.
