Exam requirements:In-depth knowledge about linear time-invariant systems and their description by differential equations, transfer functions and Bode diagram. Knowledge about Fourier analysis and Laplace transform. Basic knowledge about stochastic signals and about linear feed back in control systems.
Objectives:Development of a coherent understanding of description and design of electrical and electronic systems; in-depth knowledge about system description by impulse response, frequency response, schematic diagram and differential equations.
Course contents:Basics of signals and systems, linear time-invariant systems, differential equations, transfer functions, Bode diagram, Fourier analysis and Laplace transform, modulation and sampling; stochastic signals; linear feed back, control systems.
