Exam requirements:Detailed knowledge about development, programming, implementation and appropriation of combinatorial and sequential controls on programmable logic controller (PLCs). In-depth knowledge about techniques of programming and about fulfilling realtime requirements. Basic knowledge of structure and process interfaces of PLCs.

Learning and using professional design tools for programmable logic controller (PLCs); design, implementation and appropriation of combinatorial controls with timer and counter elements and process-orientated and time-orientated sequential controls ; description and documentation of PLC-programs; programming using techniques with subroutines; application of different kinds of sceduling PLC-programs in realtime; using process interfaces of the PLC to work with analogue signals and interrupts.
