Exam requirements: | In-depth knowledge about differential calculus for functions of more than one variable: partial derivatives, total differential. In-depth knowledge about vector analysis, integral calculus with ordinary, double and triple integrals, about line integrals and about infinite series, especially power series. |

Objectives: | The courses in Mathematics I – III shall provide the students with basic mathematical knowledge as well as with the way of mathematical thinking and the application of mathematical procedures, which are the basis of the following engineering courses. The students shall be acquainted with the techniques for solving mathematical problems and shall learn how to apply mathematical procedures to engineering tasks. |
