Exam requirements: | In-depth knowledge about linear algebra and matrices, linear equations, vector algebra, algebraic and transcendental equations. In-depth knowledge about real functions, complex arithmetic, and differential calculus for functions with one variable. For the final exam in Mathematics I is admitted, who has passed the test in elementary mathematics (part of Mathematics I). |

Objectives: | The courses in Mathematics I – III shall provide the students with basic mathematical knowledge as well as with the way of mathematical thinking and the application of mathematical procedures, which are the basis of the following engineering courses. The students shall be acquainted with the techniques for solving mathematical problems and shall learn how to apply mathematical procedures to engineering tasks. |
