Exam requirements:knowledge of the definitions of key concepts in the field of intercultural communication, knowledge in cultural and economic geography, deepened knowledge how to deal adequately with foreign business partners
Objectives:develope sensibility how to deal with other cultures, cultural and economic geography, how to deal adequately with foreign business partners, improvement of knowledge of English
Course contents:1. Definition of Intercultural Communication (IC)
2. key concepts of IC (definitions of culture, attitudes, perception, stereotypes )
3. cultural differences in the field of verbal and non-verbal communication
4. different cultural concepts of time, space, power, individual and group, uncertainty, male and female, nature
5. business communication with focus on giving presentations and writing applications
6. economic geography of Great Britain, Spain, France, China
